Surgery Completed @. 5:00 PM - 10 hrs.

Removed appendix, spleen, part of the colon, part of stomach, and cancer from surface of liver.
The surgeon said the procedure went well and she is going to be fine. Will be in the hospital for a week.
She is in intermediate care (not intensive care) now and we can see her in three hours and tell her she did well.

Terry, Kelly & Robert,
We are so thankful that every thing went well and that everything will be fine. Please give our love to
her & let her know how thankful we are that she came through all this trauma in good shape. Our
prayers will be continually with her & pray for a quick, complete, recovery.
Have been near our computer all day and, Terry, appreciate your emails so much and your set-up for
informing and keeping us updated about JaNell's progress. Didn't want to call as remembering all the
hospital protocols of our days past and thought you might be in the intensive care unit all day. Kelly &
Robert, so thankful you are there.

Terry:: Thanks for letting us know how the surgery went, and hope JaNell will recover rapidly without too much discomfort and able to come home soon. We know the waiting to hear is very stressful. I know you will all feel better when you get to see her; tell her "hello" from us and that she and all of you are in our thoughts and prayers.

We hope you will continue to let us know how she is progressing.

We will be praying for you all. Janell's surgery went very well today. She had her appendix, spleen, and areas around the appendix removed. The doctors said that all of the hidden cancer cells were killed with the chemo. She will be in the hospital for seven days. We are all very happy with the outcome. Please continue to pray that she will heal with no infection. Thank all of you for your prayers. The doctors and staff at Mayo in Phoenix are truly remarkable, but we know that God is the Ultimate Healer. We praise Him for His goodness. He truly heard and answered your and our prayers. There is so much comfort in knowing that the Bula prayer warriors are there lifting each other up in our time of need.

Thanks for the updates! Best of all that my Nellie will be fine. The prayers continue for both of you! All praise and glory belong to our Father God, Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit! JaNell would have been in real trouble had she put off her annual physical.
