Hi Dad, |
Terry, Our prayers continue for you and JaNell. You two are so special to |
I can relate to her pain. I have had some kind of operation every year since 1995 and had the clicker thing during my Ostomy, back surgeries and knee replacement surgery. It seems like forever that it will allow you to get another fix. Hopefully she will be off that stuff soon and get back to feeling normal. I am on pain patches now and have been for several years. I have osteoarthritis in my back from L4 down to S1 and do a lot of pain. I really feel for her.. You have our prayers every day.. |
Great news... Hopefully your guys will be home by the first of the year. |
Hey Guys: Sorry to hear that JaNell was experiencing so much pain. We are hoping and praying she will get relief soon. It does seem too soon for her to be leaving the hospital, especially with so much pain. Geeez, we sure hope there is an answer some where. Please keep us informed about JaNell's condition. Talk to you soon.................... jorie |
sounds good, thanks Jo Linda |
One time when I had knee surgery - I had a "pump" for pain. I kept telling them it wasn't working. Barry checked it and there was a pinch in the line. the pain RX had pooled on the carpet on the floor. I screamed if they didn't wanna see my fat a-- turned across the bed and me licking the carpet- they had better give me back alllllllllllll that RX they wasted! they weren't happy but they saw to it. |

JaNell experienced a relapse late last night, she had a major vomiting bout. Her nose tube had been removed a day earlier, but had to be reinserted today. Two nurses came to her room and inserted the tube into her stomach. Initially, they planned to move her to a radiology lab to perform the procedure, but later decided to make the insertion in her room, because the wound in her stomach had had more time to heal. Before throwing up she was experiencing pain which she described as 12. The doctor says that her bowels are still "asleep," but with more time he is 100% sure they will become active. The port in her neck was removed and replaced with PICC Line. Two technicians, using an ultrasound device, came to her room and inserted the tube. Today has been a rough day for her. As her day nurse checked out this evening, she wished her well saying that we, "ran you through the mill today." But now, after a bath and some light exercise walking around the room, she is tucked into bed, and resting comfortably. We are praying that her tummy will activate so that normal digestive processes can take place, terry |

Oh, Terry -- I'm so sorry. I pray that this will be her last bout. Perhaps they let her do too much too soon. Please let her know that we are thinking of her, and praying for her -- 24 hours a day. |
