JaNell & Terry,
Thanks for the update on your surgery. We think it was a good decision that you made to stay in PX
for rest / relaxation for body / mind.
My main cancer surgeon, Dr Snyder, at S&W, was a devout Catholic Christian who openly stated he believed in
prayers for healing before & after surgery. Dr Snyder was also one of the directors over the Texas A&M medical students
and he ask me before my surgery if I would allow his students to observe before, during, & after my surgery.
I agreed, so all the students gathered around before surgery to discuss, ask questions, etc. During the discussions
faith was brought up and I quoted my grandson, Brandon, as saying to me when I was heading in for
surgery , "Don't worry Grandma because God has great big ears."...... All the students & my doctor laughed but I heard
some, "Amen's" You've probably heard my story numerous times....But, "That's my story & I'm sticking by it"....(I think
I'm quoting you, Terry??)......
We are thankful as well that you were sent on to the Mayo. We have some of the best Dr.'s & facilities in the world.....
God has blessed our country in so many ways.

Dear Janell and Terry,

Gloria and I were thrilled to read the latest good news from Phoenix and our hearts are filled with joy and thanksgiving;confident, as always, that God hears our prayers. We ask ourselves over and over again "what can we do", knowing full well: "we can pray"...and that we do.

We thank you very much for keeping us informed regarding the treatment Janell is receiving at the Mayo clinic there.

Are you at the Mayo East of Scottsdale, AZ? If so,
I worked in Fountain Hills, AZ and drove past the Mayo everyday
that it was being built. Very nice facility.
Just curious.

Hello All,

JaNell's pre surgery appointment Dec 6th.
Surgery date Dec 8th.

There have been 7 surgeries, of this type, performed at Mayo this year; Dr. Wasif performed all of them.
We are returning home to Las Cruces tomorrow.
