JaNell Seagler Turner and Terry Turner, who were married in Lubbock, Texas on June 10, 1961, wish to announce their 50th wedding anniversary. Las Cruces has been home for these many years. Terry worked as the State Seed Analayst at the NM Dept of Agriculture. JaNell taught Literature and Composition and cherishes that time with thousands of LCPS students. During the years, a photo business evolved from Terry’s love, interest, talent and study of photography. Seeing the captured images of all those faces and events was and is always an exciting experience for both Terry and JaNell. These years have been filled with many blessings. Children Ron, Kelly and Robert and granddaughters Krystal and Rebecca are true gifts. The extended family, including sisters, brother and their families has been a treasure during these years. All the many dear friends and acquaintances have enriched a full and interesting life. Retirement has been good. Time is spent doing what is enjoyable at home in Las Cruces, traveling the US and places around the World. In celebration of this anniversary, the Turners will continue to travel and spend time with friends and family on different occasions. No gifts please, the greatest gifts to them have already been given by all who have been and are a part of their lives. |
