| On top of the bluff Adrienne and I buried a secret. In a hole we dug in the ground we buried a rubber doll and a doll’s “crier” (a device in the doll that made a crying sound when she was moved). The location was marked with a wooden cross.
My second cousin, Larry Boykin, and I tried to cave a portion of the bluff off with a crowbar. We were unsuccessful. |
