Aunt Ella was our Great Aunt and lived down by the cotton gin and railroad tracks in a tiny little house. We think she was one of the founding members of the Roosevelt Co DAR.....anyway, she was buried in the DAR's "Circle Plot" of founding members at the cemetery. ......She died in Portales June 11, 1949.
